Mar 23. Many of you have been reaching out to us about the status of The Returning Hearts Celebration. We want to thank you for your prayers, patience, and support for Lifeline Global and the inmates and the families we serve.
Early this year we were optimistic that we would be able to have RHC. However, the prisons are currently shut down until mid-April. That does not give us enough time to order and plan for everything we need to do to make RHC the wonderful day that it is. As a result, we have been asked to postpone RHC to a later date. (We will notify you of that date when we learn it.) We know that many of you have been making plans to attend, and this news comes as a disappointment. We are sorry with this turn of events, but we are trusting God that He has been guiding both the corrections staff and us, through this decision-making process.
Please pray for the inmate dads and their kids as we know that this will be a disappointment for them. Also, please pray for the wardens and staff as they tirelessly work on keeping the inmate population safe.
