The Returning Hearts Celebration at Angola has always been one of the most anticipated events of the year for about 500 volunteers, 400 plus children and 150 inmate dads. If you’ve ever been a volunteer at any Returning Hearts Celebration you know how special this day is for everyone!
After two years of pandemic absence, the Returning Hearts at Angola is back! Plus, two more are planned! Imagine how excited we are to let you know that in 2022 there are three Returning Hearts Celebrations planned. Three!

February 12, 2022 – Polk Correctional Institution, Polk City (near Lakeland), Florida, May 14, 2022 – Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola), Louisiana, May 15, 2022 – Elyan Hunt Correctional, St. Gabriel, Louisiana (Tentative)
Volunteer registration will be available in early fall for all three of these events.
