If you are a fan of organizational management author Jim Collins, you are probably familiar with the acronym BHAG. It stands for Big Hairy Audacious Goal and refers to the strategic planning and development of organizations.
At Lifeline Global Ministries, we serve a God that there are no goals that are too big for. That’s why I wanted to make public our organizational goal for 2022: TO REACH 22,000 INCARCERATED STUDENTS!
God has shown us that in the midst of Covid, that He can do great things. This past year and a half, LGM programming looked extremely bleak. At the start of the pandemic, over 90% of our programming was shut down worldwide. Yet God took this as an opportunity to open up new avenues of reaching incarcerated men and women and their families. Through our video projects, we reached 25% more students in 2021 than in a normal year.
God used YOU to help make this happen. Through YOUR assistance, we were able to fund the production of video content to reach places volunteers aren’t allowed to go. With YOUR prayers and financial support, you have provided the means that Lifeline can underwrite the cost of curriculum to students behind bars.
In 2022, we can more than double the number of incarcerated men and women positively impacted in taking Malachi Dads or Hannah’s Gift, with your continued help. Can you imagine 22,000 incarcerated people’s lives changed? The expectation is that these 22,000 individuals would reach another 22,000 parents not incarcerated! More importantly, the trajectory of 44,000+ children would have their lives forever changed as their mother or father is guided by the Holy Spirit to restore the family. Realistically, we could potentially impact 100,000+ people this coming year.
So help us rejoice with our battle cry in the New Year: Let’s reach 22,000 in 2022!
