In the next few weeks, Lifeline will be re-engaging with the state of Oklahoma, for a rollout of our Malachi Dads and Hannah’s Gift curriculum. Our initial start had been postponed in 2021 due to Covid protocols. The chaplain’s staff has now given the green light that they are ready to renew state-wide programs in the facilities we had yet to reach.

In partnership with Good News Jail and Prison Ministry, we have just completed the translation work of the Malachi Dad curriculum, “The Heart of a Father” into the Russian language, and are eager to begin utilizing our materials in facilities throughout Europe. Also in partnership with GNJPM, we are moving forward with translation work of the same material into Arabic, to be used beginning in 2023.

Lifeline Global was founded at Angola State Prison in Louisiana almost 20 years ago. Today, Malachi Dads is still being actively taught behind the walls on a weekly basis by inmate facilitators. However, due to COVID restrictions and the resultant lack of security personnel, we have not been able to provide any personal recognition for our graduates since 2019 or at any other nearby correctional facilities we’ve worked with.

Now, we are happy to say that we have scheduled visitations and graduations in the next four weeks at Hunt and Dixon Correctional Centers as well as the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women (LCIW).

Finally, we are scheduled to have a Returning Hearts Celebration in the Dominican Republic in partnership with Project Manaña. This will take place in October in Santiago.
