According to the Prison Policy Initiative, there were an estimated 2.3 million males behind bars in the U.S. in 2020. When you ask how you might pray for our ministry, I would like each of you to remember the short phrase, “TWENTY-SIX TWENTY-SIX”. What do these four words mean and why should you include it in your prayers? This represents the cost of printing and sending a complete set of curriculum to a male inmate: $26.26. Imagine that. For $26.26, we can provide a year’s worth of classroom instruction to each man behind bars. Classroom instruction that provides Biblical teaching and training on effective manhood and fatherhood.
But the overall impact is even greater than $26.26 per person. Your support is helping Incarcerated men have a positive impact on their children; helping to positively change their lives. The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) states that our country has over 5 million kids affected by a parent behind bars. When you pray “TWENTY-SIX TWENTY-SIX” you are not only asking God to help Lifeline Global reach a male inmate but an additional two children on average. What an impact! Let us keep this ministry moving!
