Our ministry is once again witnessing some rapid growth in Florida. We were blessed to have long-time missionaries – the Rupp family – establish Malachi Dads and Hannah’s Gift programs in Central Florida.
Recently, we have been witnessing growth in the Daytona Beach area through the work of our partner, Calvin Sutphin. Calvin had already established Lifeline Global Ministries programs in his home state of West Virginia. When he decided to start spending additional time in Florida, his natural instinct was to bring Malachi Dads with him. I love it!
After the holidays, I was contacted by the wife of an inmate who had gone through Malachi Dads and loved it. Upon transfer to the reception center, he wanted to try and get it started there. Between the wife reaching me, him reaching the Chaplain, and all of us connecting, I am happy to say they are rolling out Malachi Dads classes there.
So much activity in a state that has been the result of a handful of people who are determined to make a difference in their community.
