Dear Friends,
I have a message for you from a man you have never met.
“I just wanted to grab you and let you know that I spoke to my child for the first time in 13 years.” This is what a recent Malachi Dad graduate in Oregon wanted to share with me. He was overjoyed with the training he received but was more excited about his reconnection with his son. He tearfully shared with me that the last time he spoke to the now 18-year-old, he was 5. “People need to know how important and transformational this program is,” he said. I assured him I would pass along his message.
I wish I could relay this message to every single Christian and remind them of the call of Christ to reach the prisoner. With your help, I can.
If you are reading this blog, it is because you share our heart for the lost in prison and know that through God’s grace, the bondage of generational incarceration can be destroyed.
Friends, I wish I could say that it is going to get easier for Lifeline Global in 2024 to impact the incarcerated and their families, but we all know this isn’t going to be the case. We desperately need more people to share our mission and vision. To do this, we need your help.
So, I am asking you to share this message with your family, with your friends, at church, and with your Pastor. Own this story as the partner you are and relate it to others as this organization I pray for, volunteer with, and/or financially support.
Then give me a call or email me, and let’s work out a plan to get the vision of breaking this bondage of generational incarceration out to your church, small group, or community groups like Rotary. I look forward to hearing from you.
